IAS 18 revenue is a tool what highlights the needs to financial system about the profitability of sold products. The revenue caused by various services should be justified with all required criteria. Cash flow and revenue should be recorded in different division of balance sheets. (The-percentage-of-completion method)
a. It could happen that the financial advantages will go in favour of seller.
b. Sources should be reliable to calculate the different stages of recorded transactions and balance sheets.
c. The incurred cost should also be recognized seriously and with a reliable concern.
d. The overall revenue should be identified with assurance.
If the above mentioned conditioned are not satisfied the all the assumed revenue will be considered as expenditure which could be recovered with an integrated process. As a consequence the revenue relating to the year 2016 should be recognized in the year 2016. Hence the revenue for the year 2016 i.e. £92000 would not be included in the current year’s revenue. Also the cost in regards to the same need to be added back (1460/1533*92)
