Though risk management has been an important issue in business, after the sub prime mortgage crisis (2007) which took the entire globe, particularly the developed economies, in the phase of recession, the importance of this field has been highlighted further. As per MSCI (2011), the scope of process of risk management has been expanded to include an assessment of various facets of different types of risk namely counterparty risk, liquidity risk, credit risk, and so on. The process of risk management does not focus on the elimination of risk, but it emphasizes on managing the portfolio risks in order to mitigate their negative effects and thus improve the profitability of the business (Pa Na & Simionescu, 2011).
虽然风险管理已成为企业的一个重要问题，次级抵押贷款危机后（2007），把整个世界，尤其是发达国家，在经济衰退期，这个领域的重要性已进一步凸现。根据摩根士丹利资本国际（2011），对风险管理过程的范围已扩大到包括不同类型的风险，即交易对手风险，各方面评价流动性风险，信用风险，等等。风险管理的过程中不注重风险消除，但它强调有序管理投资组合的风险减轻其负面影响，从而提高企业盈利能力（PA NA和西米奥内斯库，2011）。
