The best way of destroying a feeling is to go away from and put artificial intelligence into it, which automatically kills its importance and transmission of feeling to the experiencer. It becomes difficult to escape this network when left by itself to leave, but if deliberately planned and organised, such a contemporary culture of selfies can be separated from the ideology of it being a dominant culture. It starts with the reasoning of man who begins to understand the moment to be felt rather than recorded for future reference.

Disruption as a cultural trait is dangerous and only targets breaking the current smooth progression of life, whatsoever it may be. This creates confusion in society and breaks the very essence of life. Consumption is hidden happening on a daily basis, but loses its importance under the innumerable series of small actions that occurs on a daily basis. Consumption shapes man’s power of interpretation, and uses it as a means for its end. Media as an extension of man is again a more realistic observation as it associates with the belief system of man, thereby breaking into man’s own personal belief system and offering a new one, which media wants man to adopt. This deprives man of his own identity perception leading to a loss in the culture that the mass mankind believes it to be true and a powerful force. Selfie taking seen as a narcissistic act is more of an ignorant attempt to destroy the feeling from the experience of the moment, and using technology to recreate it and store it, which assuredly is impossible.

Technology has become a major part of culture that seems to play a dominant role even when technology is absent in some aspects of culture. This renders man incapable of using his own reasoning, especially to escape this ghost of network within the cultural constraints. Escaping this cultural aspect of technology and its supposed impact on mankind is only possible with the use of the faculty of reason. When one comes to realise the unnecessity of such a large part of the character trait of technology in culture and the impact of media on man’s thinking, escaping becomes easier. Escaping the network is an essentiality if society is to sustain its inherent values and culture of man to man connection and feelings to the extent that this network must be realised as a means and not an end in itself.
