They mixed their personal lives and issues during their studies and could not concentrate on their scores. These individuals felt anxiety issues and not very happy with their lives. This element gave them a negative approach to excel in academic level. The personality trait of openness to experience and consciences were positively linked with the GPAs of the students. This is true to a level because people who are imaginative, punctual and organized have a set of plans and ideas for their future and career. These plans give them a direction and this was positively related to all of the learning styles. This article has not only analyzed the relationship between the personalities of the individual and their academic level. Personality traits play a major role in the life of an individual. An extreme of every trait can be dangerous because the individual can be pressurized from the external environment about their personality. People who have low emotional stability and score high on this category should work on improving this trait. The reason is discussed in the article and examines the negative impacts of this trait. All in all it was evaluated that students can be motivated to adapt and develop the personality traits with the passage of time. This can be done by the proper guidance and learning styles of the teachers (Komarraju, et al. 2011).

The major criticism over the use of the big five theory is about the lack of personality traits present in the theory. Major personality traits like: religion, honesty and humour etc are not defined in the model. Another criticism is about the data driven and not theory driven. Information is placed because of the factor analysis. The methodology used does not identify the dimensional structure of the personalities of the individuals. The data collected is self relied and most of the time the individual answering the questions can be biased and give the answers according to the results. Some time people know the meaning of every question and what scoring can give them the type of personality. This is the major issue in collecting the data because it is not valid to an extent.
