Any organization aspiring to perform always needs a good leader who can mentor the team and set goals which are in line with organizational goals. Hence, individuals who are at leadership positions or if they have the leadership qualities have huge bargaining powers. All organizations need people who are motivated and are ready to go that extra mile to achieve the prescribed goals (Chemers, 2014). The leaders are hired for the same job. They keep their team motivated and help the company to take a leap forward. Good leaders are capable of making good employees.

Democratic Leaders
As the name suggests, these types of leaders consult the complete team before making any decision. The team members are allowed to give their inputs. This decision making leadership takes care of the views of the team members and the decision taken is in line with the views expressed by each team member individually (Schein, 2010). However, this kind of decision making leadership is ineffective sometimes when the team members have entirely different perspectives. In such cases, it becomes difficult for the manager to take care of the entire opinions expressed (Dinhet al, 2014). He needs to narrow down on a particular decision which would be acceptable to the most of the team members.
Laissez-Faire Leaders
When a leader has a very capable and intellectual team, then the team members are allowed to take their own decisions. In this case, the leader does not interfere in the decision making by the team (Northouse, 2014). The drawback in this kind of decision making leadership is that sometimes, the team might fail because the leader is not monitoring the team closely. The team might be highly distracted and might derail from the set path.
