Social theory deals with the study of the person as a whole, and the organisation is seen as a mixture and collection of people with infinite social values and differences. Mr Davidson did not introduce any training programs for the production team to follow, instead he prepared a new initiative list and assumed that it will be followed just because their mill supervisor, Mr Ang supported him and accepted to implement those changes. This is a missed opportunity by him and it could have saved the exit of Mr Ang as well as could have stabled the company growth. Mr Davidson was a management expert and did as he learned from his past experience, but failed in learning the social theory of the production team which could have made him understand the actual social practices of the people in the country. If he had learned about social theory, he could have managed to introduce initiatives which aligned with the social beliefs of the production team, especially their connection with Mr Ang, and their willingness to work as a team.
