Existing research works on perovskites have identified many issues of stability, from structural, thermal, photonic, chemical etc. This research will make use of some of these issues to understand how perovskite can be commercially advanced with main focus on chemical and photonic elements. Addressing the ways to solve this instability will help in bringing about a large scale commercial manufactory of the cells. Therefore, future research direction will focus on how to address the long-term stability issues.

The research limitations are as follows. In addition to chemical and photonic stability, there are also issues inherent to the HTM. These are use related corrosions and corrosions because of moisture or additive weathering. These forms of concerns cannot be addressed effectively, without considering the external infrastructure support for the PVs and hence are not considered in this solution.
