The movie is based on the various sexual relations between humans and androids. The structure is more based on the moods of the characters it is not a narrative form of movie. The use of modern technology which is representing the sci-fi part of the movie is also exceptional. Overall the movie is excellent. 2046 is a mixture of traditional forms and modern techniques. The traditional forms can be seen from the emotions of the characters which have been able to involve the audience to feel the emotions of the characters. The modern techniques include the cinematic language and all the modern technology required to make a sci-fi movie. Therefore the movie is appealing to a broad base of audience including the younger generation and the older generation. The movie is highly acclaimed by most of the critics and has received positive ratings from many sets of critics and audiences. This movie is an example of the brilliance of Wong Kar Wai, who has been able to succeed in different kinds of genres over the years.
