The exchange of valuable information through technical knowledge sharing pacts, and bilateral agreements of investing in different countries has helped the countries become closer in their thinking and executing a standardised model of construction practices which are generally considered to be world class in their safety and quality features. Jaafari (2000) argues that the construction industry to be made into a global industry with a very high success ratio is possible by implementing the ISO 9000 quality assurance standards or the one which is the latest. This is a key factor which will eventually decide in the dissemination of similar information at all levels and in all countries which are striving to be similar to the best in-class practice in construction industry. The industry’s key issues in uniting together and in becoming a global success are the distortion of relevant and correct information, restrictions in data sharing, and hindrances in bilateral agreements of all kinds. The legal framework is more to blame for the restriction of information from one country to another. However, it has been liberalised with the rise of global media and free sharing of information in the internet. Nevertheless, actual practical execution and implementation of the quality practice and world class quality will remain a distant dream if there are no efforts to bring the world construction industry under one single authority of assessment which will only impose quality standards and practices on all kinds of construction projects (Yates, 2007). In addition, with continuous research and development in the industry, whatever information found to be valuable must be shared globally for a fee with a sole purpose of reducing uncertainty and eliminate risks of life and property in all construction projects.
