Triandis (1995) has explained Individualism and collectivism as a cultural syndrome. Which patterned and influenced by various of characterizes like values, roles in life, attitude. I value the needs of maintain strong connections between my family and friends. This is due to the influence of having a collectivism family culture, growing up with many siblings and large number of family members. But however, moving oversea independently at young age also requires myself to emphasize the need of high freedom and the ability to survive without relies on other help (Triandis & Gelfand, 1998). I demonstrate of horizontal- individualist, the preference for being independence which also highly self-reliant in group but does not seek for high in status (Cozma, 2011). I more prefer of individual assignments than group work. But I display interest and focus on the group value and see everyone as equal.
