It can be ascertained that the annual report is the image of the company itself and not catering to any individual class and it is not the tip of the iceberg. All errors and omissions should be kept to the minimum and everything should be cross checked finally. Internal politics and pressure should be handled with care and ideas should be stressed earlier and the person responsible should learn to say a no at the appropriate places. In short and detailed report covering all the important areas and providing the fundamental information is the one which is more important. Today’s world is information age but for that information to be effective it should be packaged rightly. Right information at the right time at the right place is stressed upon. One more aspect is all the strategic goals of the company should be highlighted and we should be able to relate with the company. Too many performance indictors should not also be mentioned in the schedule and no performing KPI which are irrelevant for the business should be eradicated. It is true that the reports indicate the image of the company and not the company. So the focal point should be the report and not the company.
