Sixth comes relationship marketing. This means marketing to guest based on the information that the hotel has gathered on the guest based on the guests’ relation with the hotel. In this way the hotel can use the comments or the requests that a customer has made to figure out the tastes, preferences and likes of a customer. The hotel then uses this information to market specific services and products to the customer. So in a way this is targeted marketing as opposed to mass marketing. Needless to say this marketing is much more effective. Because the customer is much more likely to buy the product or service.
